Pupa Flagship Store
Pupa gift boxes, with their curious shapes, were Angelo Gatti’s great insight, and few people know that they were born in Monza between the 1980s and 1990s, where the family company, Micys Company, has its registered office, while the headquarters are in Casatenovo. In 1975, in Monza, Angelo Gatti created a brand by borrowing the name he used at home for his daughter.
Project Overview:
The project stems from a strong name and identity, recognisable internationally, tied to the colour red, which has always characterised the brand and made it distinctive in the cosmetics world.
The first single-brand store in Monza translates this identity into an immersive space: walls, furnishings and uniforms express the iconic red. The store is designed as an inclusive place, with areas also dedicated to companions and children, equipped with comfort, charging points and entertainment.
The architectural project prioritises transparency and visual continuity: glass entrances and shop windows, light internal partitions and sliding solutions separate the functions without compromising the light.
Particular attention is given to the fully transparent entrance door, which removes the barrier between inside and outside and reinforces the perception of an open, welcoming space.
